New Deathly Hallows Part II Poster!
These Harry Potter posters just keep one-upping each other!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II hits theaters July 15th!
New One-Sheet for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Twitter exploded earlier with the reveal of the first official one-sheet poster for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Here it is:
I really like how Warner Bros. is shifting away from the Part I and Part II business and really selling this as an overall experience. This poster seems to be a very good indication of what to expect from David Yates and co. once Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I rolls around in November.
I've enclosed the trailer from earlier in the week after the jump...
Potter Musings: Wizarding World Opening Day
If one thing is clear, Harry Potter deserves to have an ENTIRE theme park dedicated to all things Harry Potter. Below is a picture of lines for the opening day just to get into the park...This doesn't include lines for rides or attractions.
With lines like these, how can Universal and/or Warner Bros. not have some grand plan to make a larger park. It'd make the fans happy, for sure!

The Beginning of the End: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Wraps
Saturday marked the official end of principal photography on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, thereby also marking the end of filming for the Harry Potter series.

This is just the beginning of a 1-year journey to the final Potter movie ever released in a theater.
I've really dreaded the end of this franchise. Back in the day, I started out as a hater, but one day in college my roommate was watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and I just happened to stick around to catch it.
Little did I know that it would impact me in the way it did. I'm happy to see how mainstream Harry Potter has come over the course of the past 9 years, but you must admit, we're losing one heck of an awesome franchise.
That said...I can't wait for these final two films to be released!

Trailer Musings: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
So going into tonight's MTV Movie Awards show, I had one purpose...to see the latest preview for the next Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. In a quick summary, let me just express how great the film looks. I think the main thing that stands out in this latest preview is the scope of the films, and how they're expanding outside of the traditional bounds of Harry Potter.
Highlights include:
-The fight in the diner.
-The wideshots of the rolling countryside (can't wait to see them on the big screen, and in HD!)
-The multiple closeups of Harry, especially out on the beach.
-The showdown between Ron and Harry
This is only a preview of what's to come from the full-trailer...Given it's a mere 5 months until release, I have the feeling Warner Bros. is going to ramp up the marketing for this one pretty quick.
